* Earned doctorate in higher education or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university;
* Evidence of a national or international reputation as an expert in an area related to higher education or educational leadership;
* Evidence of a sustained record of research publications;
* Evidence of excellence in the mentorship of doctoral students;
* Evidence of excellence in teaching and service.
* Evidence of collaboration with individuals in other disciplines or work areas;
* Experience working on dissertation committees as chair, co-chair, or member;
* An active recording of procuring grant-based research support.
