We are seeking an Industrial Hygienist / Radiation Safety Officer for one of our clients operating a large-scale industrial facility in the Western United States. This is a hands‑on role with direct impact on employee health and safety. You will work closely with EHS leadership and site operations to support industrial hygiene and radiation safety programs, assess workplace hazards, and strengthen health and safety practices as the organization continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify occupational health and radiation-related hazards.
  • Perform and oversee industrial hygiene sampling and monitoring, including air, dust, fumes, vapors, and noise.
  • Support radiation monitoring, surveys, exposure assessments, and other radiation safety activities.
  • Analyze monitoring data and develop recommendations to minimize employee exposure risks.
  • Evaluate work practices, equipment, and operational processes to improve workplace health and safety.
  • Recommend and implement engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE programs.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and operate industrial hygiene and radiation monitoring equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports, exposure assessments, and corrective action plans.
  • Support health, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to promote a safe work environment.
  • Provide technical guidance on industrial hygiene and radiation safety matters.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in industrial hygiene and/or radiation safety within an industrial environment, with hands‑on experience conducting exposure assessments, workplace monitoring, and supporting health and safety programs. Experience with in mining, manufacturing, chemical processing, or other heavy industrial operations is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, and certifications such as CIH, CSP, CMSP, RSO, or ARSO are a plus.
