Our Junior Estimator is a member of the estimating team on projects and collaborates with other Estimators, clients, and suppliers to prepare and complete bid/submittals for electrical construction projects.

• Actively participate in estimating and pre-construction activities of new projects.
• Collaborate with corporate and project management to determine project bidding strategies.
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and estimate contents.
• Prepare detailed estimates by calculating complete takeoffs of scope of work.
• Maintain files of working documents, including current prices from suppliers.
• Generate scope of work, pricing, and labor schedules based on engineer’s narratives.
• Review design options and recommend solutions based on cost, quality, and material availability.
• Participate in preparing, reviewing, and presenting technical and design/build proposals.
• Conduct studies on materials, construction methods, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

• Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field experience preferred.
• Electrical/Power Systems classes and internships are advantageous.
• Strong willingness to learn and improve.
• Interest in electrical and power systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work responsibly and efficiently.
