This is an on‑site role at our Baton Rouge, LA site location.

• Preliminary assessments and concept creation
• Lead designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers
• Resolve internal and external issues
• Create and produce drawing and specification packages
• Ensure customer and vendor accessibility
• Develop and modify DIV 27 specifications
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents
• Coordinate with BIM designers, AHJ’s, radio system owners, and carriers
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems (including LMR 2‑way radio, Public Safety DAS, Commercial DAS, OTA DAS, Neutral Host DAS, DRAN DAS, and related systems)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner or equivalent modeling programs
• Experience working with clients to identify wireless communications needs
• Experience troubleshooting wireless system issues with field teams
• Understanding of Noise Floor, SNIR, Return Loss, VSWR
• Experience optimizing networks during design and installation
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, NFPA 1225, IFC section 510, Carrier KPI’s, IBC, FCC parts 20 and 90, FCC OET bulletin 65, MOTOTRBO systems, Motorola R56 installation standards, DMR Tier III
• Familiarity with Navisworks
• Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers and clients
• Excellent project management skills
• Familiarity with responding to RFP’s
• Experience creating a project budget, schedule, and risk mitigation plan
• iBwave Level 2 Certification required

• Designing Wi‑Fi systems
• EDX or Motorola design certifications
• FCC GROL
• NICET Design Certification
• Multiple OEM product certifications
• Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering degree
• EIT or PE licenses
