Systems Engineer
Job Summary
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war‑fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
Responsibilities- Work as a team member on projects and tasks providing computer hardware and operating system solutions.
- Perform daily operational support on computer operating systems, including system security, access, configuration, backups and restores.
- Specify network requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware, and ensure systems meet specifications and parameters.
- Organize and secure directory structure and assist or train staff members in the use of department Document Management Systems, associated databases, and CM/DM release procedures.
- Specify hardware requirements and provide Computer Authorization and custodial receipt listings to track equipment configurations and identification logs.
- Serve as POC for problem reporting, incremental version updates, and monitor yearly support contracts.
- Make recommendations for future hardware/software implementations and related process improvements, schedule, plan, and perform system upgrades including the transition from design, test, production and documentation environments.
- Provide operational status reports as required.
- Use established policies and procedures and subject matter knowledge to complete complex assignments requiring originality and ingenuity performed under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for independent contribution.
- Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.
- Manage and administer storage solutions including NAS and SAN systems.
- Research, integrate, or place new technologies into the existing data center.
- Other duties as required.

System Administrator IV
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. At least nine (9) years of experience in computer systems related areas. Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
System Administrator V
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience. At least twelve (12) years of experience in computer systems related areas. Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
Senior System Administrator qualifications:
- Specific experience in maintaining operating systems and supporting applications in a centralized and distributed server environment.
- Planning and organizing skills with ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Valid, state‑issued driver's license.
The expected salary range for this position is $91,062.40 to $ annually.
