Job Description:

The job requires sound knowledge of the occupation and requires exercising judgment in performing tasks. RF Engineer IV is responsible for linking budget analysis, system dimensioning for coverage and capacity, initial system design and dimensioning, site identification and evaluation, zoning analysis, zoning testimony support, frequency planning and interference analysis. The engineer should be able to undertake network performance improvement tasks. UMTS:
The job requires sound knowledge of the occupation and requires exercising judgment in performing tasks. RF Engineer IV is Expert of UMTS protocol, UMTS design and optimization.

Minimum Required Skills /

Competencies:

Must have recent LTE Optimization experience with competing carrier

Must have VoLTE optimization knowledge and understanding how to improve KPI's.

A minimum of 8 years work experience in RF Optimization. A minimum of 3 years of SME level work experience on UMTS Optimization. Must have worked on any two of the following equipment - Ericsson UTRAN Self- motivated and ability to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills Strong communication skills required/Written and verbal Reliability and strong organizational skills are a must.

Ability to prioritize multiple task to completion Ability to work independently and complete tasks successfully Strong attention to detail Flexibility in ever changing environments and priorities Exhibiting initiative in achieving company goals and objectives Must meet minimum technical proficiency requirements

Expertise in UMTS / DC-HSPA+ / EUL / EDGE / GSM Technologies.

• Strong experience with Multi Carrier - Multi Band UMTS and GSM Networks.
• Expert experience in the understanding, tuning and Optimization of Ericsson UMTS and GSM Parameters and Features.
• Strong knowledge of Ericsson UMTS and GSM Performance Counters and KPIs.
• Strong working experience in RF shaping optimization, Neighbor List Optimization and Layer Management in Multi Technology / Multi Carrier / Multi Band Networks.
• Strong knowledge of Ericsson Multi Technology RBS Configurations.
• Experience in swapping RAN Networks from one vendor to another.
