CIVIL ENGINEER - LAS VEGAS, NV
Duration: 6 Months with the option of up to 2 years

JOB SUMMARY:

We are needing a civil production engineer who can sit down at a computer and prepare project documents. Must be able to use Civil 3d for grading, drainage, roadway, and water pipeline projects. They must be able to do the designs themselves and prepare project drawings. An experienced engineer is required to support ongoing civil design work in the Engineering directorate.

The candidate will provide support to design projects in the construction phase to ensure deconfliction of issues along with development of design documents. If required, the candidate will be responsible for development and configuration management products and discovery of existing conditions. The candidate will ensure requirements are traceable and transparent throughout the project lifecycle, including design, construction, procurement, startup and turnover to operations.

Current project work includes the Fleet Waterline Project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required for all levels
• Education/Experience Substitutions:

1. Certification - Professional Engineer’s License will substitute for 4 years’ experience.

2. Education – An advanced degree will substitute for 3 years’ experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• Engineer I - 3 Years Experience Min. Training/Cert- 2
• Engineer II- 5 Years Experience Min. Training/Cert- 1 or 2
• Engineer III- 10 Years Experience Min. Training/Cert- 1 or 2
• Engineer IV - 15 Years Experience Min. Training/Cert- 1 or 2
• Engineer V - 20 Years Experience Min. Training/Cert- 1 or 2
• Sr. Engineer/Scientist IV – 15 Years Experience Min. Training/Cert- 1 or 2
