Anglo Gold Ashanti, a global gold mining company with operations, projects and exploration across 10 countries on four continents, is hiring a Mine Maintenance Manager (Manager, Mechanical Maintenance) for its Nevada Projects, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The manager leads all mechanical maintenance for mining and processing equipment, developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, overseeing planning, scheduling and work management, leading root cause failure analysis and condition monitoring with Reliability Engineering, managing the mechanical maintenance operating and sustaining capital budgets, contractor costs and spare parts, and supporting commissioning, ramp-up and start-up of new processing facilities and infrastructure with EPCM contractors and project teams, while championing MSHA compliance and leading the maintenance team.

• leads all mechanical maintenance for mining and processing equipment
• developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• overseeing planning, scheduling and work management
• leading root cause failure analysis and condition monitoring with Reliability Engineering
• managing the mechanical maintenance operating and sustaining capital budgets, contractor costs and spare parts
• supporting commissioning, ramp-up and start-up of new processing facilities and infrastructure with EPCM contractors and project teams
• championing MSHA compliance and leading the maintenance team

• a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
• at least five to seven years of progressive mechanical and reliability maintenance experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry
• a track record on project studies, EPCM execution and plant commissioning
• CMRP certification is preferred
