Job Description

This position requires an individual to be able to work the specific positions of: front window, fill bank, marker bank, Dispatch Cage on a rotational basis. To insure that transactions are done correctly and to safeguard the Westgate assets. To provide friendly and accurate service. To be able to operate all equipment in order to obtain information needed to provide management and customers with accurate information.

  • Respond to guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information.
  • Provide and obtain accurate information by following Westgate procedures and guidelines to service all parties concerned in a courteous and professional manner. Failure to do so may result in negative feelings towards the hotel.
  • Assist cashiers and other departments in completing transactions correctly.
  • Adjust to new situations and personnel and implement policies by instructing the correct manner in which to conduct transactions. Schedule discipline, counsel and document when applicable.
  • Verify and accurately complete transactions, ensuring checks are completed correctly and that the correct amount of markers, chips and cash is given or received.

  • Respond to guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction, and information within hotel guidelines.
  • Provide and obtain accurate information using a variety of sources to service customers and other departments in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Communicate with customers to determine transaction nature to accomplish satisfaction for all parties concerned. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to complete job requirements and communicate with employees.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly to ascertain and document important information, follow written or verbal instructions and provide clear direction/guidance. Relate to all levels of management, employees and guests in verbal/written form.
  • Organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions, exercise judgment and adapt instructions from one assignment to another.
  • Respond to guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information within hotel guidelines.
  • Remain alert throughout shift and stay calm during emergencies.
  • Access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Grasp, bend, lift and/or carry racks of chips weighing a maximum of 40 lbs. on a continuous schedule.
  • Maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well‑groomed appearance.
Experience Requirements

At least one year of casino and cash handling experience.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
