JOB SUMMARY
Provides critical support to Count Room supervisory staff by assisting in the secure collection, transportation, and accurate reconciliation of monetary assets from the casino floor and other revenue‑generating sources. Ensure compliance with established policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout all cash‑handling processes.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Collect and count revenue from various drop sources in compliance with MIC and departmental guidelines.
Retrieve, transport, and securely store drop boxes and carts; load and operate currency counters to reconcile funds.
Sort, count, and organize all currency, coin, chips, coupons, and related paperwork; strap and stamp money bundles.
Accurately total and reconcile all monetary assets by shift and date; enter count data into PC‑based applications and verify printed documents.
Prepare and deliver all required paperwork and scanned documentation to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Handle coin and token operations, including sorting, rolling, weighing, and delivering to designated areas such as Cashier and arcade machines.
Manage ticket redemption kiosk drops and counts for the casino floor.
Communicate with internal departments and regulatory agencies to coordinate drop and count schedules; respond to service requests via pager and email.
Monitor and report currency counter maintenance issues and IT service needs.
Maintain a clean, organized Count Room environment; monitor supply levels and request replenishments as needed.
Ensure compliance with MIC requirements, safety protocols, and internal control procedures, including accountability for Count Room keys.
Provide courteous guest service when interacting with patrons during drop activities.
Support audit processes by scanning count documents and sharing information with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and improve operations.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain a gaming license.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
Previous experience performing detailed, accuracy‑driven tasks strongly preferred.
Minimum of six (6) months prior cash‑handling experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and adherence to standards required in a regulated gaming environment.
Fluent in English with strong literacy and communication skills.
Excellent mathematical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
Proficient in basic computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and network navigation.
Highly organized with the ability to sort and manage currency, chips, coupons, and related documentation efficiently.
Capable of performing tasks with speed and precision in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
Comfortable working collaboratively in a small, secure environment under continuous surveillance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity for handling cash, tickets, and gaming chips accurately.
