THE JOB

As an Assistant Slot Technical Manager, you’ll oversee the Slot Technical Departments at MGM Grand, New York-New York, and Excalibur. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Slot Technical Manager in planning, managing, and executing casino technical projects that keep our gaming floor running smoothly. In this role, you’ll help oversee installations, moves, and repairs of slot machines and related equipment, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies and gaming regulations.

You’ll also foster clear communication on project updates, promote departmental values, and help implement best practices that drive team engagement, efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Assist the Slot Technical Manager with the maintenance, performance, and compliance of all casino gaming equipment
  • Oversee machine moves, installations, conversions, and repairs in accordance with regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of gaming equipment, including compliance documents and move logs
  • Support HR functions by fostering teamwork, recognition, and employee development while ensuring adherence to company policies and agreements
  • Stay current on technology advancements and ensure proper training for department staff
  • Coordinate casino game projects with property teams, corporate strategy groups, and vendors
  • Manage inventory levels and uphold exceptional service standards for all guests and team members
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in slot operations or a related area
