Position: SUPERVISOR - TABLE GAMES (ON-CALL)

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Supervisor – Table Games is to supervise the operation of a group of assigned tables on the gaming floor. The Supervisor is also responsible for monitoring dealer performance and ensuring that Guest Service standards are met at all times. Supervisors rate the play of guests and ensure that all gaming procedures are being followed. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

All The Venetian Resort Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Observe game, always looking for irregularities or deviations from procedure.
  • Advise Area Supervisor / Casino Leadership of possible problem areas or irregularities.
  • Supervise Team Members, ensuring they enforce and adhere to company and regulatory policies and remain alert to job duties; alert the Area Supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Ensure dealers provide flawless Guest Service and engage guests, making them feel welcome.
  • Ensure that Team Members adhere to gaming regulations and report any violations immediately to the Area Supervisor / Casino Leadership.
  • Establish and maintain a courteous rapport with all casino guests and Team Members, providing the best possible service.
  • Handle customer and team member concerns quickly and courteously.
  • Inform Team Members of procedural updates/policy changes and monitor for compliance.
  • Rate customers based on time of play, average bet, win/loss amount, credit or cash buy‑in, walk amount, and basic strategy.
  • Count game float inventories at the beginning and close of shift, advising the Area Supervisor of results and any suspected irregularities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Issue credit based on casino computer system information in accordance with company policy and limits.
  • Highlight the benefits of the Grazie program to players and encourage enrollment.
  • Ensure Guest Service standards are met at all times.
  • Rate the play of guests.
  • Perform safety duties and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board registration, Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card, and any other required certification or license.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • 3 years of experience dealing multiple games at a major casino property or equivalent required.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills.
  • Must distinguish winning/losing combinations and settle wagers correctly.
  • Knowledge of ACSC player tracking system and table management software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English both spoken and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with guests and team members of diverse backgrounds.
  • Must work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift or carry 10 pounds unassisted when required.
  • Physically access all areas of the property, including drive areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines with internal and external contacts.
  • Interact appropriately with guests, management, and other team members.
  • Walk, stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods.
  • Work in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
