• Manage and prioritize the workload of engineers, balancing with business demands
• Actively promote the on-time completion of projects while managing priorities/escalations
• Set measurable objectives for the team and individual reports and guide to achieve them
• Encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies by all
• Present creative solutions to technical and/or business requirements and challenges where possible
• Manage key cost elements related to the delivery of projects, products, or systems. Seek methods to optimize performance, reduce costs and improve service levels
• Provide project leadership in all phases of systems design, development and support. Prepare strategic plans, task development, estimates, work plans and project schedules and reports for management
• Actively lead or participate in resolving key issues that impact the performance of the team, products or project progress
• Work closely with various product teams to determine optimal and agile solutions and provide/guide through alternatives when necessary

• 7+ years of progressive experience in software development, with strong hands‑on coding and troubleshooting skills
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and driving complex IT initiatives
• Expertise in driving cross‑functional collaboration and aligning technology solutions with business objectives
• Deep understanding of high‑availability, clustered environments and their architectural implications
• Solid experience applying Agile development methodologies to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions
• Broad technical knowledge of .NET, Node.js, Java, C#, and modern development tools (SVN, Git Hub, Jira, Confluence)
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction, mentorship, and strategic guidance to peers and stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, adept at translating complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 USD, which is dependent on several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
