**** THE JOB**:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Entertainment Carpenter Tech to join the team at Luxor.  In this hands-on role, you’ll support the magic behind the scenes, working closely with the Production Manager to keep our sets, stages, and scenery running like clockwork.

If you’ve got a sharp eye, steady hands, and a passion for live entertainment, this is your chance to help shape the show – one perfectly placed piece at a time.

** THE STARTING RATE:**  $39.26 / Per Hour
** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Build scenery, props, and other items as directed, and learn to run show cues
* Support rehearsals and trainings as needed by the department head, artistic team, or stage management
* Take part in department safety checks, keep inspection records updated, and always follow safety rules and attend required safety and rescue training
* Write down any repairs and help document equipment, supplies, and procedures to keep everything running smoothly
* Help clean and maintain the theatre, showroom, shop, and warehouse
* Operate forklifts or similar equipment when needed
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** Must be 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
* Two (2) years of prior relevant experience as a Stage Carpenter
* Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
* Working knowledge of metal fabrication skills, theatrical rigging hardware and techniques, cabinetry construction, and scenic painting preferred
