Summary

TFC Summer Internship Experience - May 24th to July 30th, 2027. Are you a student interested in audio, video, lighting, live production, or event technology and curious about what happens behind the scenes to bring a live event to life? Join Freeman for a 10‑week summer internship experience where you'll gain hands‑on exposure to the live events industry. You'll contribute to real projects, learn alongside industry professionals, build your network, and participate in professional development throughout the summer.

As an intern within Freeman Audio Visual Production, you'll work alongside Freeman’s production and operations teams to learn how technology, people, and planning come together to deliver live experiences for our customers.

Depending On Your Role, You May
  • Business Administration:
    Support overall line of business objectives and cross-functional collaboration
  • Business Operations:
    Assist project management, production planning, event implementation and execution
  • Labor Relations:
    Learn how labor is planned, scheduled, and coordinated for live events
  • Operations Enablement:
    Enable internal projects and transformation initiatives that help production teams deliver successful events

This Position Will Support Freeman Audio Visual Teams. The Position Follows An In-person Schedule Working Full-time In-office And/or Show-site Based Out Of

Essential Duties & Responsibilities A Day in the Life in FAV
  • Coordinate projects and help keep teams, timelines, and priorities moving.
  • Turn data into insights that help teams make smarter business decisions.
  • Create presentations and reports that bring ideas and results to life.
  • Explore AI, automation, and new tools to improve how work gets done.
  • Get behind the scenes of live events, helping coordinate logistics, resources, and execution.
Education & Experience What We're Looking For

We're looking for students who are excited by technology, enjoy hands‑on environments, and want to explore a career in live event production. Ideal candidates are:

  • Completing their college degree or program between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Preferred majors in Hospitality, Business, Audio Production, Live Event Production, Theatre/Theatre Technology, Entertainment Technology, or related programs
  • Passionate about project management, business operations, process improvement, and live event execution
  • Strong collaborators who bring problem‑solving, adaptability, communication, and a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable supporting live events that may occasionally require evening or weekend work;
    Able to travel to local event facilities as needed (depending on role and location)
