As a Branch Operations Lead Trainee in Branch Banking, you collaborate with the Branch Manager, branch employees, and One Chase colleagues to ensure customer financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. You will work to provide an exceptional customer experience, support branch operations, and promote a positive, engaging environment.
Job Responsibilities- Work with the Branch Manager to set the tone of the branch environment to provide an exceptional customer experience and a dynamic and engaging culture
- Engage clients as they enter the branch by welcoming them and making customers feel appreciated, performing transactions, managing lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue, and scheduling/canceling client meetings
- Perform branch operations including managing cash devices such as the cash vault, ATM, or others while adhering to all bank policies and procedures
- Introduce customers to the branch team to build relationships and assist with financial needs
- Make customers’ lives easier by sharing and setting up self-service options for 24/7 account access
- Support the Branch Manager with all aspects of branch operations, including loss control, compliance, and audit standards
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
- Detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Availability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings
- Ability to connect with and educate customers, referring to colleagues as needed
- Strong interest in influencing, educating, and connecting team, partners, and customers to technology
- Leadership abilities and proficiency in operations and transaction accuracy
- Some college or military experience, or 2+ years of branch banking experience
Completion of the Branch Operations Lead training program is required to be considered active in the role.
