Job Description

Handling tax in a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a State Income Tax Manager, you will apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to complex issues.

The State Income Tax Manager will provide tax consulting, planning, and compliance services to a diverse range of clients operating in various sectors. Our Tax practice is constantly evolving, and it's here you'll find everything you need to grow as we do.

• Oversee state-level tax projects, including compliance and related research.
• Lead and direct a team in managing state tax compliance and advisory services for clients.
• Manage and execute state income tax compliance responsibilities.
• Monitor and analyze changes in state income tax laws and regulations and determine impact to the client.
• Provide complex tax review, research, planning, and consulting services to diverse clients.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline and approximately six years of related work experience.
• High level of proficiency in state income tax code, regulations, and procedures.
• A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
