Overview
The Controller leads GAAP-compliant finance operations—overseeing accounting, audits, grants, treasury, and internal controls—while supervising payroll/accounting staff and delivering financial insights to leadership.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or MBA a plus)
- 5–7+ years of nonprofit finance/accounting experience
- Supervisory experience
- Proficiency with nonprofit fund accounting systems (e.g., Net Suite, ADP, Donor Perfect)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Hands-on experience managing audits, Form 990, budgets, and grant financials
