Senior Controller leadership is sought for our busy consulting team in Las Vegas. Help businesses achieve goals by using your finely tuned technical skills and knowledge of GAAP. Always mitigating risk and maximizing profit. Confident, resourceful leaders will roll up their sleeves to solve problems and advise stakeholders. Hands-on accounting experience gives Senior Controllers wisdom beyond the numbers.

We are a busy team of talented consultants, working collaboratively to deliver accounting solutions for clients in the Las Vegas area. Our talented full-time sales team generates on-going engagements in the Las Vegas region, so that consultants can focus on accounting.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and oversee accounting operations (such as A/R, A/P, GL, payroll).
• Perform job costing, WIP, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, etc.
• Set controls, budgets and metrics.
• Produce accurate, timely reports.
• Accomplish month-end and year-end close processes.
• Standardize and maintain systems.
• Conduct internal audits; comply with external audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Contribute to management’s financial decision-making processes.
• Lead and develop other staff members.
• Orchestrate change.

Qualifications:

• Degree related to accounting/finance.
• Manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Consulting experience (preferred).
• Cost accounting experience (preferred).
• Management of accounting groups (preferred).
• Analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Technology skills, including Excel and ERPs.
