We are looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to join Credit One's Products team as a high‑level individual contributor. This hybrid financial analysis/data science position focuses on profitably expanding and managing Credit One’s credit‑card product portfolio, evaluating new products, partnerships, and business opportunities.
Summary of Essential Job Functions- Evaluate the viability of new products, partnerships, and business opportunities.
- Develop business strategies to launch new products.
- Analyze, review, and recommend improvements to models, reports, and analyses prepared by others.
- Use database tools to manage, manipulate, and analyze large sets of financial information.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis, especially for anomaly detection, investigation, and explanation.
- Assess opportunities to acquire credit‑card portfolios.
- Forecast account performance, revenues, and costs related to new products/portfolios.
- Recommend enhancements when existing products fail to meet expectations.
- Manage product profitability to meet financial hurdles.
- Present findings in PowerPoint for senior management.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the bank.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role in a professional corporate environment.
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and profitability drivers.
- Advanced use of SQL Server, Oracle, or SAS.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to build, understand, and maintain complex models.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data mining, econometric, and statistical procedures.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ownership mentality and capability to partner with senior management to drive end‑to‑end solutions.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a small team on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical acumen.
- Ability to prepare and deliver accurate presentations in PowerPoint.
- Advanced degree.
- Consumer credit‑card industry experience.
