Desert Radiology is seeking a skilled patient-focused Nuclear Medicine Technologist
.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform nuclear medicine procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Perform nuclear medicine procedures as prescribed by a physician. Follow established techniques and methods in operating equipment and processing images. Ensure technical quality of images and exercise judgment in processing assigned workload.
Qualifications- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) registry (or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment in technologist position)
- Ability to start and maintain an IV
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine technology principles and procedures, normally acquired through completion of approved nuclear medicine technology training program
The hourly range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00.
