Whatdoes a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.
- Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
- Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrap booking, gardening, games, etc.)
- Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
- Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
- Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on their physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

- Make a Difference—when you are a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you will be the direct contact for our clients, giving you the opportunity to make their days brighter and help give our clients’ their independence. This not only helps our clients, but their families will appreciate all that you do too!
- Must have a driver's license, valid auto insurance, your own reliable transportation, clean driving record and willingness to drive a reasonable distance.
- 1 year of field experience as a PCA or Home Health Aide is preferred but we will train the right candidates
- Must be able to pass State and Federal background check & drug screen
- Must get a current TB and physical prior to beginning work with us
- Must obtain CPR & First aid certifications (We can help with this)
- Must provide 2 personal and 2 professional references
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
