- Providing massage treatments to patients upon referral from the RN Case Manager
- Reviewing patient chart and medical history prior to initiating treatment
- Working within the complementary and alternative health care client bill of rights
- Documenting all patient visits according to policies and procedures
- Actively participating in the hospice interdisciplinary team
- Participating in the QAPI hospice performance improvement program
- Ensuring compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Formal massage training and education from an accredited or approved program
- National Certification by the Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork preferred
- Licensed in the state of operation
- 2+ years clinical experience as a massage therapist
- Understanding of the hospice philosophy
