Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Senior Medical Science Liaison based in the Southwest territory (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada (Las Vegas), and Utah). The role is field‑based and requires an estimated travel requirement of 80%.

Medical Affairs Group – MSL
The Sr. MSL provides fair, balanced, and objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and internal partners. Responsibilities include maintaining a territory strategic plan, engaging with opinion leaders and investigators, supporting research initiatives, and conducting educational activities.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a field strategic plan and territory strategic plan.
- Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries and present data appropriately.
- Execute proactive and reactive outreach plans and prioritize franchise initiatives.
- Facilitate research communication with external investigators.
- Provide clinical trial support, site initiation visits, and investigator launch meetings.
- Lead at least one scientific or strategic immunology project.
- Represent J&J at conferences, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and speaking engagements.
- Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time.
- Support sales training initiatives and collaborate with field partners.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and health‑care guidelines.
- Advanced medical degree (Pharm
D, PhD, MD, NP, PA) with +3 years of relevant therapeutic‑area clinical experience. - 2+ years of MSL or related clinical, research, or pharma experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Travel availability of 75‑80%, including overnight and occasional weekend commitments.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reside within the assigned territory.
- Knowledge of Immunology or the relevant therapeutic area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and remote technologies.
Base pay range: $137,000 – $235,750.
Benefits- Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year.
- Sick time – 40 hours (56 hours in Washington) per calendar year.
