Spring Valley Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System
, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities.
Located in southwest Las Vegas, the
366-bed hospital offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries and procedures, surgical services, women’s health, comprehensive maternity services, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. ER at Blue Diamond
, an extension of Spring Valley Medical Center, is a freestanding emergency department providing 24/7 emergency care to infants, children and adults. ER at Blue Diamond has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Acute Stroke Ready and Acute Heart Attack Ready.

High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department preferred. Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course.

Current BLS Certification required. Approved Crisis Management Course required. Certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred. Certified Phlebotomist preferred. IV Certification preferred.

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
