RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 48-bed Intermediate Care Unit (PCU/IMC) with 3-4:1 patient ratios

• Schedule requires 3 shifts per week with every other weekend commitments

• Primary nursing model with no unit secretaries or patient care technicians

• PCU/IMC experience required with management of drips and ventilators

• Must have previous Meditech documentation system experience

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Equipment includes in-room vital sign monitoring, centralized telemetry monitoring, ventilators, BiPAP, Hoyer lifts, cardiac chairs, Sara Steady, doppler, bladder scanner, and US guided IV machine

• Procedures performed include chest tube management, central lines, minor urologic procedures, and emergency intubations

• Travelers are first to float per collective bargaining agreement

• Must participate in bedside shift reporting and use AIDET communication framework

• Dress code requires royal blue uniforms with no artificial nail polish
