Mantro Mobile Imaging is seeking an Intake Coordinator to support referral intake, scheduling, and result coordination within a regulated mobile diagnostic imaging program.
This role manages referrals and reports through multiple stages of the care coordination process and requires sound judgment, situational awareness, and a professional approach to documentation and communication.
Responsibilities- Manage imaging referrals from intake through scheduling within a regulated IDTF environment
- Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation
- Ask appropriate clarifying questions when information is incomplete or inconsistent
- Apply priority awareness when processing STAT and routine referrals
- Coordinate scheduling with patients, facilities, providers, and field staff
- Monitor exam progress and imaging status through completion and reporting
- Track receipt of final radiology reports and ensure timely delivery
- Communicate results to providers and facilities per protocol, including call-backs when required
- Escalate delays, STAT findings, or workflow issues appropriately
- Document all actions, communications, and outcomes thoroughly, accurately, and professionally
- Maintain records that are complete, consistent, and audit-ready
- Actively manage inboxes, queues, and task lists to prevent missed or delayed items
- 1–3 years of healthcare intake, scheduling, or medical administrative experience
- Experience in diagnostic imaging, radiology, or regulated healthcare environments preferred
- Strong documentation skills with attention to clarity, accuracy, and completeness
- Ability to evaluate information, identify gaps, and determine appropriate next steps
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable attendance and consistent follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment
- Takes ownership of assigned work and follows items through to resolution
- Approaches tasks with attention, curiosity, and a desire to understand the full process
- Communicates honestly, clearly, and responsibly
