A specialized retail pharmacy focused on HIV/AIDS care in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing and patient needs. This full-time role operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The position offers a 13-week contract with the possibility to transition to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and fill low-volume prescriptions with precision
- Handle data entry tasks accurately to maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication, supporting individuals with HIV/AIDS
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication management
Experience:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Nevada
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings, preferably with HIV/AIDS dispensing expertise
- Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to punctuality, reliability, and a positive workplace attitude
- Strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare providers
