Overview
It is the responsibility of the Sr. Cabana Host to drive cabana and pool rental sales out at the pool. The Sr. Cabana Host will act as the host to our entire rental product and be required to continuously check in with guests throughout the day to ensure satisfaction and assist with requests as needed. Additionally, the Sr. Cabana Host will escort guests upon arrival to the location of the rental and provide an orientation to the guest’s cabana, and pool amenities.
This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P.

- Welcome guests to the pool and escort guests to cabanas and daybeds.
- Tele-market new and existing business through pool promotions, special events, and direct marketing offers.
- Provide telemarketing support to Pool Management staff.
- Assist Pool management with reservations and special events.
- Gather relative information for future telemarketing efforts.
- Interact with guests to ensure they are having a great experience.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with hotel visitors and market the Golden Nugget Pool and other venues to all guests.
- Meet booking quotas set out by Pool management.
- Maintain an outgoing personality while fostering relationships within the department and around the city.
- Participate in team outings and promote a positive image for the pool at all times.
- Be comfortable using a smart phone and communicating via email and phone.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
- Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
- High School Diploma or GED (or actively seeking).
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience within Hospitality or similar guest service experience.
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) related to position responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Effective communication with guests, employees, and management in English.
- Ability to complete standard forms and reports.
