Summary:

Cleans and services assigned area according to standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment for our guests. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

• Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators
• Details rooms, showers carpets in the hotel rooms and hotel hallways
• Moves furniture and makes room deliveries, including linens
• Assists houseperson with special projects, hotel rooms, cleaning floors, and lighting fixtures
• Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company
• Scrubs and disinfects sinks, toilets, furniture and various fixtures
• Replenishes supplies in housekeeping, maintains housekeeping warehouse area and other work areas
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 1 to 6 months of related experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• None

• Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company
• Working indoors, continuously standing and walking for a majority of the time
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Regularly lift, bend/kneel and occasionally working outdoors
• Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical)
