The position focuses primarily on Human Resources activities tied to recruitment, records, and HR-driven payroll support.

What You’ll Do

  • Certify eligible hiring lists or request certified hiring lists from centralized Human Resources, and maintain accurate hiring lists by updating the Human Resources database after interview results are received.
  • Assist with recruitment planning, draft job announcements, participate in outreach including job fairs, and prepare and place advertising in newspapers, trade journals, and websites.

  • Provide employee liaison support related to workers’ compensation, coordinate early return to work and modified duty, complete required forms, monitor lost time, and arrange for FMLA to run concurrently.
  • Maintain HR, recruitment, and training files and records according to established records retention schedules.
  • Answer HR and payroll-related questions from employees, management, and the public by researching laws, regulations, and policies, and provide requested job announcements, applications, forms, and other HR documents.
