Vertisystem Inc. is hiring a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer for our direct client in Las Vegas, NV.

This is a high-impact, long-term onsite contract role focused on AWS Cloud Infrastructure, EKS, Terraform, and advanced networking (Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).

If you’re passionate about building and scaling modern cloud environments and enjoy working hands‑on with EKS, IAC, and CI/CD automation, this is a perfect opportunity to join a cutting‑edge cloud transformation initiative.

• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Cloud Engineering

Strong hands‑on experience in:

• EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) – 3+ years
• AWS Networking:
  Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Private Link
• Core AWS Services: VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, S3
• Infrastructure as Code:
  Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible
• CI/CD Automation:
  Git Lab, Git Lab Runner
• Monitoring & Logging:
  Cloud Watch, ELK Stack, Prometheus

• Solid understanding of Dev Sec Ops , container orchestration, and cloud security best practices.

• AWS infrastructure being built from scratch using Terraform and Git Lab pipelines
• Multiple EKS clusters already in place
• On-prem workloads migrating 100% to AWS Cloud within 2–3 years
• Close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Engineering teams

• Direct Client – No Layers
• Long-term Contract (12+ months, extendable)
