Fusion HCR is seeking a senior-level Workday Technical & Integrations Specialist with deep expertise in Workday integrations, configuration, and technical architecture. This is a highly technical, independent role requiring strong hands-on skills with Workday Prism, Accounting Center, EIBs, and API development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable building, supporting, and optimizing Workday integrations across multiple business functions while serving as a team of one supporting HR, Payroll, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Prism, and Accounting Center.
- Build and manage APIs (REST/SOAP) for inbound and outbound integrations with third-party and internal systems.
- Configure Workday technical elements, including business processes, security roles, calculated fields, and custom reports.
- Support HR, Payroll, and Finance teams by resolving integration-related issues and providing technical solutions.
- Serve as the technical SME for Workday integrations during upgrades, testing, and release cycles.
- Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, and compliant with SOX, GDPR, and internal IT standards.
- Partner with business analysts, HRIS, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Create and maintain documentation (integration specs, technical designs, user guides).
- Continuously assess and improve integration processes to optimize performance and reduce manual effort.
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday technical/integrations experience.
- Strong proficiency with Workday Prism, Accounting Center, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
- Proven experience developing and managing REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations (e.g., Mule Soft, Dell Boomi).
- Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance processes and how they translate into Workday technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently as a team of one with minimal oversight.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Workday Integration Certification strongly preferred.
