Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

• The Supervisor/Application Services is responsible for overseeing application development, support, integration, and maintenance teams for the enterprise application environment.
• Oversee and direct the work of teams engaged in analysis, design, requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, and support and maintenance of custom developed and commercial applications.
• Manage information technology initiatives and support projects that are significant in scope and impact through advanced knowledge of technology concepts coupled with strong leadership, business, and planning skills.
• Prioritize levels of support based on customer requirements, staffing, and system utilization and stability, and redirect resources in response to new or changing customer needs.
• Ensure system stability, user satisfaction, and timely delivery of application changes and projects, working closely with IT infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards.

• Education:
  
  A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited university is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Six plus years of relevant work experience. Utility industry experience is preferred.
• Knowledge:
  Strong knowledge of key Oracle modules such as Financials, Procurement, Human Resources, and Supply Chain.
• Skills:
  
  Strong PL/SQL programming with proficiency in SQL, Oracle Forms, XML/BI Publisher, OBIEE, and Oracle Workflow.
• Leadership:
  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, coordinate research and evaluation of product and service alternatives, and provide guidance and recommendations in the development of system requirements, support, testing, and programming processes and standards.
• Communication:
  Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts and projects to technical and non-technical staff.
• Management:
  Ability to oversee daily operations, support, and enhancement of Oracle E‑Business Suite and related systems, supervise support teams, and manage the full software development life cycle.
• Business Acumen:
  Ability to analyze and report on team resource allocation, establish measurable individual and team goals aligned with business objectives, and drive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization across Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL components.
• Technical Expertise:
  Work closely with DBAs and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and scalability, and ensure creation and upkeep of system documentation, models, and diagrams.

Las Vegas: $107,387 - $161,081

Southwest Gas uses flexibility to develop competitive compensation offers to ensure we can hire the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the pay range for the position.
