Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Project Manager to lead complex cross‑functional projects from inception through successful delivery. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and user enablement, requiring a strong blend of project management discipline, product management acumen, technical proficiency (especially with Salesforce/SFDC), and a passion for developing and delivering high‑quality training. You’ll be instrumental in translating strategic product goals into actionable project plans and ensuring the team delivers value iteratively and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Execution:
Manage the entire project lifecycle for technical initiatives, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Agile Leadership:
Serve as a Scrum Leader or lead within an Agile framework (Large Solution SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid), facilitating ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, demos), removing impediments, and shielding the team from external distractions.
  • SFDC Implementation:
Directly manage projects related to the enhancement, integration, or implementation of Salesforce (SFDC) clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud). This includes coordinating developers, business analysts, and system administrators.
  • Reporting & Governance:
Define and track key project metrics and KPIs. Provide clear, concise, and timely project status reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Product Owners:
Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to clarify the initiative vision, understand high‑level and detailed requirements, and ensure initiative deliverables align with strategic business outcomes.
  • Prioritization Support:
Assist in defining, refining, and prioritizing the solution backlog, ensuring it reflects a balance of new features, technical debt reduction, and operational needs.
  • User Story Definition:
Assist the product owner in breaking down epics into detailed, estimable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Instructional Delivery:
Plan and deliver training sessions to internal teams (e.g., Operations, Delivery, and Program Management teams) and, occasionally, external partners, utilizing various methods (in‑person, virtual, self‑paced).
  • Change Management:
Act as a key agent for change management, communicating the ‘why’ behind product and system changes and managing user readiness and adoption post‑launch.
Required Qualifications
  • 10 years of experience managing technical projects, with a significant focus on software development or IT systems implementations.
  • Proven experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment, preferably with a relevant certification (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe).
  • 5 years of direct experience managing projects focused on Salesforce (SFDC) platform configuration, development, or integration; a strong understanding of SFDC architecture is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver training on Agile program management and delivery programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a dual Project Manager/Product Owner or similar hybrid role.
  • Background in instructional design or adult learning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Azure Dev Ops, Smart Sheet) and collaboration platforms.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder).
