Solution Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. You will design and implement enterprise-level solutions, including creating high-level architecture and API designs, while leading development teams through agile delivery.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design and document solution architecture and high-level designs, including API specifications and microservice-based architecture.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and create epics stories for development teams.
• Lead implementation teams during solution delivery, ensuring adherence to Agile/Lean methodologies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards and patterns, promoting reusability and scalability across projects.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and approaches for enterprise adoption.
• Ensure integration of AWS services, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines into solution designs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 6–8 years of experience in solution architecture and enterprise-level design.
• Proven expertise in microservice architecture, API design, and Agile/Lean development methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).

Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
