Summary
An Ecommerce Analyst’s primary responsibility is to analyze and optimize online sales strategies. This professional evaluates consumer behavior and website performance to identify areas for improvement across the entire ecommerce experience. They analyze data to develop insights into consumer behavior and improve website design, layout, and product descriptions. Ecommerce Analysts use analytics tools like Google Analytics and A/B testing to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations to increase conversion rates.
They also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the website aligns with marketing, sales, and product goals.
- Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field. - Years of
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience as an e-commerce analyst or in a similar e-commerce or digital marketing role. - Experience with ecommerce and AWS platforms.
- Proficient with site tagging and privacy regulation adherence/best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with CRM software and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and how they impact online sales.
- Familiarity with SEO principles.
- Expertise in A/B & multivariate testing/best practices.
- Experience with Dynatrace platform.
- Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and e-commerce tracking tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Solid communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Familiarity with e-commerce trends such as personalization, chatbots, or AI-driven shopping experiences.
- Capacity to work with large datasets.
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities in the Ecommerce industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Ecommerce performance, including conversion rates, sales, and customer engagement.
- Monitor and report on Ecommerce metrics, such as traffic, revenue, and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the Ecommerce platform is optimized for user experience and functionality.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that impact Ecommerce performance, such as site speed, checkout process, and mobile optimization.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices to continually improve Ecommerce performance.
- Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
