Analyst II/HR Systems (Oracle HCM Technical)
The Analyst II/HR Systems is a seasoned individual contributor in the HR Systems area of the Human Resources (HR) department. This technical individual modifies, configures, tests, implements, and maintains HR systems (i.e. Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite). The position analyzes business needs, translates needs into requirements, and develops or recommends software solutions with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
This position also supports business operations by providing guidance, training, and system support while continuously analyzing current business processes against related policies and procedures to promote technology innovations aimed to maximize productivity and standardization across the organization. The analyst handles moderate issues and problems, while referring more complex issues to higher-level analysts. This position may provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to an Analyst I/HR Systems.

Base pay range: $82,926.00/yr - $/yr
Las Vegas: $82,926 - $120,278
Qualifications• Two to four years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of PL/SQL preferred.
• Comprehensive functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite.

EssentialJob Responsibilities
Support
- Maintain Oracle HCM Cloud subject matter expertise for Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, HR Helpdesk, Learning, Benefits, Absence Management, and Compensation/Workforce Planning modules.
- Provide Oracle E-Business (EBS) subject matter expertise to troubleshoot integrations and maintain existing non‑Payroll functionality in EBS.
- Provide end‑user support for HR modules and business processes, including guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Work with Oracle Support to open Service Requests, test recommended changes, and implement changes.
- Act as liaison between functional teams and business departments.
- Perform configuration and testing of HCM Cloud or EBS modules, develop Fast formulas, create and modify HCM Extracts using PL/SQL/OTBI, and generate BIP reports.
- Analyze code, including Oracle APIs as needed.
- Collaborate with project management to determine needs, identify technical application requirements, and prioritize enhancements.
- Lead development of functional specifications and design the use of application software.
- Plan, design, and conduct appropriate testing, including preparation of test plans, scripts, data, and expected results.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all support activities.
- Diagnose and resolve moderate issues in a timely manner.
- Provide on‑call support when assigned.
Technical
- Participate in analysis, prioritization, and development of change requests, upgrades, security patches, and maintenance actions.
- Consult with support groups and business units on system design, maintenance, and usage.
- Analyze functional specs and software requirements for feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Translate business problems into requirements and recommend solutions aligned with the HR Road Map and IT initiatives.
- Prepare development specifications and obtain necessary approvals.
- Use advanced methods to develop, modify, and document software systems, interfaces, and access tools.
- Coordinate software system installations, upgrades with vendors and IS teams.
- Develop custom applications and create technical artifacts supporting SDLC.
- Participate in technology recovery plans, rehearsals, and execution.
- Plan and guide configuration, testing, and implementation of application components.
- Turnover tested application items and documentation for production use.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, support groups, business units, and suppliers.
Develop and Utilize I/S Policies and Practices
- Ensure effective use of I/S policies, practices, and standards.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and guide implementation of new practices.
Develop I/S Organization and Skills
- Design and deliver training for I/S personnel.
- Serve as a knowledge resource in multiple functional and technical topics.
- Prepare briefings and research reports.
- Gain deep knowledge of business processes and organization.
