Role Overview

Product Marketing Manager to develop compelling campaign and thought leadership content to support Campus networking solutions. As a part of the Networking Product Marketing team, you’ll help shape our product messaging, positioning, and content, working closely with product, sales, and customer teams to amplify our story in the market.

What you’ll do
  • Support Switch messaging and positioning development, driving NPI and run‑the‑business PMM content.
  • Develop deep expertise with Campus networking technology, spanning a portfolio of hardware, software, and AI technology.
  • Collaborate across Product and go‑to‑market teams to develop comprehensive positioning and messaging focused on customer outcomes first.
  • Create compelling product content and technical thought leadership to engage with the largest enterprise customers in the world and a wide range of audiences, from executive to technical practitioners.
  • Deliver compelling and concise demos of key product capabilities and use cases, live and recorded.
  • Lead website content creation that accelerates customer understanding, interest, and purchase intent for Cisco wireless solutions.
  • Analyze quantitative product, pipeline, and market data to guide content development.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 4+ years of Networking experience.
  • 4+ years of Product Marketing experience.
  • Experience with messaging and positioning development for new product introductions.
  • Heavy content creation and strong presentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Research and data analysis experience.
  • Tech industry experience.
  • Understanding of networking platforms and AI‑powered portfolio—spanning LAN, WAN, security, and IoT.
  • Storyteller with strong writing.
Key Skills for the Role
  • Core messaging and positioning across products and solutions.
  • Collaboration across business units to create unified messages.
  • Content creation across written, presentation, and digital media.
  • Writing:
    Top 10% skills, ability to draft, copyedit, and publish high‑quality content.
  • Thought leadership and synthesis of complex technical topics.
  • Competitive enablement experience, building sales materials.
  • Working directly with creative teams (web, video, graphic design).
  • Pipeline measurement and analysis (SFDC, Tableau, etc.).
Baseline Requirements for PMM
  • Experience in high‑growth tech environments.
  • Partnered with enterprise or partner/channel sales motion.
  • Public speaking / webinar skills; strong presenter.
  • Clear storytelling, customer‑focused.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • AI knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of tech product market trends.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
