The Surveillance Technical Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, and operational integrity of the Surveillance Technology function at Wynn Las Vegas. This role oversees the installation, maintenance, performance, and advancement of all surveillance systems and related technologies that support the safety, security, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness of the property. The Surveillance Technical Manager leads a team of technicians, manages technology projects, coordinates with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensures the surveillance infrastructure operates at the highest level of reliability and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, develop, and supervise the Surveillance Technical team, including hiring, performance management, coaching, scheduling, training, and professional development.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and upgrade of all surveillance technology systems and equipment, including cameras, monitors, digital recording systems, encoders, video management platforms, servers, storage arrays, network switches, alarms, workstations, wiring infrastructure, technical centers, and remote surveillance locations.
  • Ensure the continuous operation and reliability of surveillance systems supporting gaming, hospitality, security, and regulatory operations throughout Wynn Las Vegas and affiliated locations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs designed to maximize system performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life cycles.
  • Manage surveillance technology projects from planning through execution, including system expansions, upgrades, renovations, and implementation of emerging technologies.
  • Establish and maintain inventory controls for surveillance equipment, replacement parts, tools, and technical supplies while overseeing purchasing activities and vendor relationships.
  • Assign, monitor, and prioritize daily workloads and technical assignments for Surveillance Technicians to ensure service levels and operational objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with Surveillance leadership, Information Technology, Security, Facilities, Compliance, and Gaming Operations to support operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements that improve surveillance capabilities, operational efficiencies, system security, and compliance standards.
  • Maintain system documentation, technical records, maintenance logs, project plans, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all surveillance systems comply with applicable gaming regulations, company policies, technical standards, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and escalation support for complex troubleshooting involving surveillance hardware, software, network infrastructure, and digital recording systems.
  • Participate in emergency response efforts and provide after-hours support as required to maintain critical surveillance operations.
  • Perform Surveillance Technician duties when operational needs require additional technical support.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement while supporting Wynn Las Vegas' commitment to operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience within a Casino Surveillance Technical environment required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in computer networking, surveillance technology, electronic systems maintenance, low-voltage systems, or related technical disciplines preferred.
  • Extensive experience with CCTV installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and digital video management systems required.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance infrastructure, including IP and analog camera systems, network switches, servers, storage arrays, alarms, video recording systems, and workstation environments.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting network connectivity, surveillance hardware, servers, storage systems, operating systems, and related technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and network-based surveillance environments.
  • Experience programming and configuring analog and digital CCTV systems.
  • Proficiency in the use of test equipment, meters, soldering equipment, hand tools, power tools, man lifts, and communication devices.
