If you've worked behind the scenes in a personal injury law office reconciling ledgers, managing payouts, and handling lien verification you know how critical this role is. What You'll Be Doing:Manage post-settlement disbursements accurately calculate client, attorney, lienholder, and provider payouts
Prepare payments via check or wire and maintain meticulous records of all transactions
Review and reconcile liens, medical bills, legal costs, and trust balances
Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and providers to resolve discrepancies
Ensure trust compliance (IOLTA) and maintain strict confidentiality around financial data
Draft and review disbursement packets for client signature and release
Who Were Looking For:2 years of experience in a legal, accounting, or medical billing setting (personal injury preferred)
Familiarity with lien resolution, trust accounting, or client fund disbursement
Comfortable using legal practice management systems (e.g., Filevine, Needles, Litify, Smart Advocate)
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
Organized, proactive communicator, and deadline-driven
Nice-to-Haves:Knowledge of IOLTA/trust compliance standards
Experience in a high-volume PI firm
