Nevada General Counsel; Per Diem​/As

Job Summary

The Villarreal Organization, Inc. is seeking an experienced and reliable General Counsel to serve on a per diem / as-needed basis. This role involves providing strategic legal guidance across a variety of business areas including employment law, contracts, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance.

• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
• Advise on employment law, HR matters, and internal policies.
• Provide support for litigation, disputes, and small claims actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Represent or advise on company legal matters as needed.
• Prepare demand letters and review claims related to vendor or partner disputes.

Hourly rate or flat per diem — please include your rate expectations when applying.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed to practice law in Nevada (additional states a plus).
• 1+ years of relevant experience in business law, employment law, and litigation.
• Strong writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, remotely, and respond quickly to requests.
• Prior in-house or contract counsel experience preferred.
