Director of Global Sales & Operations Planning (m/f/o)

Interblock is a leading manufacturer of luxury electronic gaming devices with over 30 years of tradition in the gaming industry. The globally recognized brand Interblock continuously sets the standard in the industry with its innovative approach and the quality of its products.

We are seeking a Director of S&OP who will lead the monthly global sales and operations planning process, align sales forecasts with manufacturing, service, procurement, logistics, and inventory capacity, as well as with Finance, so that the company makes decisions through a single, integrated process. The goal is one
- aligned company plan that delivers a high level of customer service while optimizing inventory and costs.

The key to this role is the ability to build and lead the S&OP process, connect the functions and regions in which Interblock operates, introduce common planning standards and methodology, and ensure that business decisions are based on high-quality data, scenarios, and clearly defined business impacts and actions.

This is a new function at the company, making it ideal for someone who wants to build the S&OP process from the ground up, develop it, and manage it over the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and develop the S&OP process, including establishing common planning standards and methodology across all functions and regions, and fostering a culture of decision-making based on data and agreed commitments.

Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, including preparing analyses and scenarios that clearly show business impacts, tracking the implementation of agreed decisions and actions, and reporting on their results.

Plan demand and align supply with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and inventory capacity. Identify bottlenecks, risks, and critical materials, and develop scenarios and action plans.

Translate the operating plan into financial impacts together with Finance, compare the S&OP plan against the business plan and budget, and flag gaps and risks.

Ensure the quality and consistency of planning data across all regions. Prepare reports and dashboards for management. Participate in the selection, implementation, and development of planning tools.

Bring Sales, Manufacturing, Service, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and regional teams together in a single process, reconcile differing interests, and prepare recommendations for decisions when interests are not aligned.

Train and support colleagues in using the process and methodology.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience building and leading an S&OP process, preferably at a manufacturing company with global or multi-regional operations.

Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management, and an understanding of how they interconnect.

Experience optimizing or reducing excess and obsolete inventory, and working with Finance on inventory valuation, reserves, and write-offs.

Experience in configure-to-order, engineer-to-order, or project-based manufacturing.

Experience with commercial forecasting in an environment where the sales pipeline, backlog, and varying levels of demand certainty are important.

Global or multi-regional experience and the ability to balance differing interests and priorities.

Strong analytical skills, excellent data skills, and experience with scenario modeling and automation.

Ability to influence and lead change without direct formal authority.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to turn differing functional perspectives into clear, data-driven recommendations for decision-making.

Fluent written and spoken English.

A university degree in business administration, management, economics, logistics, supply chain management, industrial…
