Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 (Depending on experience)

Job Summary

Safe Nest is a leading non‑profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Our work is to empower survivors, raise awareness, and work towards a violence‑free community. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of key initiatives that support Safe Nest's strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about community impact.

Primary

Responsibilities Project Leadership & Planning
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for new and ongoing initiatives.
  • Align project goals with organizational strategy and community needs.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams to coordinate activities, share resources, and streamline project workflows.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional meetings to ensure clarity and momentum across departments.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the coordination of staff, volunteers, consultants, and partner organizations.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track progress against deliverables, prepare internal and external reports, and evaluate project impact.
  • Proactively manage project risks and recommend course corrections.
Budget Oversight
  • Work with finance and program department leads to monitor and manage project budgets responsibly.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Public Administration, or related field required; PMP certification or Master’s degree a plus.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, ).
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable navigating cross‑functional collaboration in a hybrid or remote environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • This position will primarily work in an office environment and must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and use a computer or other office equipment.
  • The work may require occasional evening and weekend hours to attend events or meet critical deadlines.
  • The work environment may be fast‑paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations.
