Overview

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all outbound freight, daily receiving, picking and cycle counting in the warehouse. The role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with Product Leaders and Customer Service to plan and arrange customer order fulfillment and shipping. The manager also works directly with customers and carriers to aid in shipping error resolution, outbound freight scheduling, claims, freight pricing, and related activities.

Management level data reporting and ERP work is also required.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee a one‑shift warehouse.
  • Monitor picking accuracy and error rate.
  • Schedule daily and weekly truck schedules.
  • Perform daily reporting requirements (inventory accuracy, order verification, upload/download issues, ASN problems).
  • Perform weekly reporting requirements (fill rates, West Supply Chain Tool, late JIT report).
  • Work with IT to troubleshoot Syteline (ERP) and IRMS (WMS) connectivity.
  • Work to achieve 95% on‑time delivery.
  • Manage daily performance of team to reach 99.92% picking accuracy.
  • Work with 3rd‑party logistics partner to schedule and route loads.
  • Manage the IT infrastructure of the warehouse (wireless RF scanners).
  • Manage service calls and repairs of the forklift fleet.
  • Manage consignment inventory and processes.

Supervisory Responsibility

Supervision of 15+ direct reports.

Physical Demands

The position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting or moving items over 50 pounds. Employees will be on their feet for up to 8 hours per day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time salaried position, resulting in at least 40 hours of work per week. Workdays are Monday through Friday.

Travel

The position requires less than 10% travel, all domestic.

Required Education And Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s level degree.
  • 2–3 years of warehouse experience.
Preferred Education And Experience

Experience managing direct reports.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Experience with ERPs and WMS (warehouse management software).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
