Domestic Trucking Manager
Location:
Las Vegas. Office based full-time. Base salary $90k-$110k commensurate of experience. Benefits include relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Our client is a leading Domestic Trucking specialist looking to employ a Domestic Trucking Manager to be based out of Las Vegas with fantastic growth opportunity with this organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a team of drivers, manage schedules to avoid burnout, and ensure the fleet is well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
- Plan and optimize routes to ensure reliable and on-time deliveries.
- Monitor operational budgets and find ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure all operations comply with legal requirements for road haulage and safety regulations.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues that arise during transportation.
- Leadership and communication:
The ability to lead a team and communicate clearly with drivers, other departments, and customers. - Organizational skills:
Strong organizational skills are essential for managing schedules, logistics, and budgets. - Problem-solving:
The ability to quickly identify and solve problems as they arise. - Knowledge of transportation: A strong understanding of transportation laws, regulations, and logistics is crucial.
