Area Director, Southwest

Summary

The Area Director leads a portfolio of Cartier boutiques across the Southwest, driving commercial performance, operational excellence, and exceptional client experiences. This senior leader connects regional strategy with execution while representing the Maison and developing future leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple boutiques and identify opportunities to grow market share, strengthen client relationships, and improve performance.
• Coach and develop Boutique Directors, support succession planning, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Champion hospitality, clienteling, omnichannel experiences, and Cartier standards across boutiques.
• Partner with regional and corporate teams, build relationships across the luxury community, and contribute to regional strategy.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience, ideally in luxury retail or hospitality.
• Proven experience leading multiple locations with P&L responsibility and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders, build high-performing teams, and establish succession pipelines.
• Strong understanding of luxury retail, clienteling, omnichannel strategy, and operational excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred; additional language skills and SAP experience are a plus.
• Flexibility to travel and work retail hours, including weekends and client events.
