About the role

The Production Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control. They will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.

    Develop and execute production plans and schedules to meet customer demand efficiently, optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management, to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and production goals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement, implementing measures to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across production operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and other departments to coordinate production activities seamlessly, addressing any arising issues promptly and effectively.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively, ensuring the availability of materials and resources required to support smooth production operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to track progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions aimed at continuous operational improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, teamwork, effective communication, and accountability within the production team.
  • Undertake any other related responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in meeting organizational needs.

Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Nevada Driver's License.
  • Must have some management or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in shop operations or related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and data management.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
