Position Summary

As a Production Assembly Worker, you’ll play a key role in manufacturing our double-decker buses. Working on the production line, you’ll be responsible for various assemblies and installations in your assigned area while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

What You Will Do
  • Perform mechanical assemblies and installations using various tools and materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Review blueprints, work instructions, and part lists to prepare for daily tasks.
  • Build to specification by following technical drawings and using measurement tools and basic math skills.
  • Follow all safety procedures and support a culture of workplace safety.
  • Work with the team to meet production targets by staying organized, managing time, and communicating clearly.
What You Need to be Successful
  • Experience using hand, air, and power tools.
  • Familiarity with measuring equipment and tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and follow blueprints, measurements and work instructions.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production is an asset.
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work regular shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Valid CDL certification is an asset but not required.

Physical requirements:

  • Regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and work at heights.
  • Exposure to vibration and moving mechanical parts is common.
  • Generous compensation package.
  • A 40-hour working week, structured as four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday.
