Welder, 1st shift

Majestic Steel is excited to add a welder to our Team! We’re hiring a welder who is ready to hit the ground running, assembling, fabricating parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment. Our facility is immaculate, we have a strong safety culture, and we offer competitive compensation & benefits. Hours are Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with overtime as required.

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints and written instructions to accurately create parts and ensure compliance with welding specifications.
• Fabricate and manufacture metal parts for assembly.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Perform all welding work using forming, cutting equipment, gas torches, and welders.
• Maintain weld machines using preventive maintenance methods.
• Evaluate weld machine performance regularly.
• Maintain inventory of manufacturing products and welding consumables.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation.
• Rework and/or repair welded parts according to specification changes.
• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping, and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Wear appropriate protective equipment as required and in accordance with safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Assist with housekeeping and provide support in other areas as required.
• Other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned.

• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl up to 10 hours.
• Must be able to mount, dismount, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.
• Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days, including weekends, as needed.

• Prior welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG, TIG, metal fabrication, grinding, and metal finishing.
• Capable of reading blueprints.
• Technologically savvy with experience in MS Office and Windows‑based applications.
• Specific technical or vocational training or certification (preferred).

• Operate assigned equipment safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Work with minimal supervision, planning and prioritizing workload.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain neat and orderly conditions in the work area and promote safe conditions throughout the facility.
• Communicate with management and co‑workers effectively.
